

Julie Biuso's Sizzle was recognised as the best barbecue cookbook to have been published in the world in the past 12 years at a prestigious event held in Frankfurt.
In making the presentation in front of hundreds of food writers and publishers in the city for the annual book fair, chief judge and founder of the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards Edouard Cointreau said, \\\\"This book has conquered the world of barbecue, from the US to France, which is an amazing achievement.\\\\"
Sizzle: Sensational Barbecue Food won Best Barbecue Cookbook in the English Language when it was first published in 2006 but at the special Best of the Best of the Past 12 Years ceremony it was singled out over all other barbecue cookbooks that had won each year, as the very best.
It is the sixth time Julie Biuso's books with New Holland have been recognised by the Gourmand Jury.
In addition to being a bestseller in New Zealand, Sizzle has sold into the United States, Australia, South Africa, the United Kingdom and France
